An interesting life leads to interesting work. I’m a Chinese creator based in Halifax with a background in social media, data analysis, and more—all driven by the same underlying desire: to create.

I grew up in a huge city in the China, and I consider myself lucky to have had an upbringing that fostered curiosity, creativity, and not being lazy or spoiled (that applied to doing chores as well as achieving things I really wanted). As a child I loved drawing, LEGO, and being read to.

When I was older, I played around with drawing software on an old Windows XP computer, and as a teenager, I downloaded videos from Pirate websites to make compilations. Later, I made some mods for some games, liking Crusader Kings II, Mount & Blade and so on, by modifing in-game models and textures.

The twenty-something me took internships at Adream Charitable Foundation and Hexin Certified Public Accountants LLP. I graduated in accounting, and developed a love for market analysis and creative advertising. Ultimately I decided to leave the city where I had lived for 24 years and pursue a master’s degree to expand more path.

I moved to Halifax in 2024. While studying, I am also taking time to explore this beautiful city in my own way. The unique culture and welcoming atmosphere here have truly captivated me. After living in Halifax for six months, I began studying advanced English, which has given me a deeper appreciation of Canada.
